🧹 X-ClearLag❓ FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) - X-ClearLag

Find answers to common questions about X-ClearLag.

1. Why does the plugin not clear certain items from the ground?

X-ClearLag has several protection systems to avoid deleting important items:

  • Named Items: By default, items renamed in an anvil are not cleared.
  • Items in Frames/Stands: Decorative entities are protected based on your configuration.
  • Protected Zones: If you use WorldGuard, the plugin can be configured to ignore certain regions.

2. How can I see which chunks have the most entities?

Use the /xcl inspector command. It will show you an interactive menu with the most loaded chunks on your server, allowing you to teleport to them for investigation.

3. Does the plugin clear mobs (cows, villagers, etc.)?

Only if you configure them in the entity-filters section. By default, X-ClearLag focuses on items and projectiles (β€œdrops”) to avoid ruining player farms.

4. What does β€œTPS-based cleaning” mean?

It means the plugin can be configured to perform automatic cleanups only when server performance (TPS) drops below a certain threshold (e.g., 16.0 TPS), keeping the server smooth without unnecessary cleanups.

5. Is it compatible with Folia?

Yes, X-ClearLag has been designed from the ground up to be compatible with Folia’s multi-threading, managing entities safely in each independent region.
